Practicing Yoga with Babies

Mum & Baby / Child Workouts

Enjoy a strength and cardio class programmed by a specialist postnatal fitness instructor. Resistance, weights and bodyweight exercises are used to provide a fantastic all body workout.

​

You’ll have your own mat provided for you and your baby, and be stationed with them throughout the workout.

​

At any point you’re welcome to pause to feed or change your baby, or just to take a breather for yourself.

Important information:

  • You must have had your GP sign off to exercise. This is typically 6-8 for a V birth or 10-12 weeks for a Caesarean birth.

​

Classes are held at Knowle United Reformed Church and Solihull College.

Pregnancy Workout & Wellbeing

Pregnancy safe workouts programmed by a pre and post natal exercise qualified instructor.​

​

The classes are a combination of cardio and resistance, specific to the trimester that you are in. 

​

Each class is followed by an exclusive audience with a hand picked expert, covering a range of topics. Each term will have a different combination of speakers, the upcoming term includes:​

  • Nutrition - expert nutritional advice for every stage. Guidance on supplements and gut health, key nutrition for breastfeeding and maternal health 

  • Pregnancy and birth Q&A - with specialist private midwife

  • Feeding: breastfeeding or bottle, how to succeed whatever your choice, equipment you do and don't need, combi feeding

  • Baby first aid

  • Mental health counsellor

Reasons to join:

  1. Gain confidence in exercising whilst pregnant and learn how to train outside of classes safely

  2. Training during pregnancy reduces the risk of gestational diabetes, pregnancy complications and lengthy labours

  3. Learn about key pregnancy, birth and newborn topics

  4. Meet other like minded mums in the local area

  5. Be added to a Whatsapp support group to keep in touch

How to book:

Classes can be booked as a full term of 6 classes initially due to the screening and planning involved for each individual. After the initial term, individual classes can be booked on a PAYG basis.

Up to 1 class per term can be rolled over to the following term with at least 3 days notice.

​

Classes are held at Dorridge Village Hall.

Monthly Group Walks

Join us for our monthly pushchair walks, where mums can get moving, meet new friends, and soak up some fresh air! It's a fantastic opportunity to connect with other women while enjoying some fresh air. Bring your buggy and let’s walk, chat, and support each other in our journey. 

​

Walks are free, but please register using the link below so I can track numbers.
